The Institute was honoured to organise two public lectures for the Academic Lecture Series on the 90th Anniversary of the National Cheng Kung University, Taiwan, and the SHI 10th Anniversary Lecture Series, with Department of Chinese Literature, National Cheng Kung University. About the speaker
Professor Tsan-Teng Chiang is a renowned scholar of East Asian history of Zen Buddhism and Buddhist history of Taiwan. He published five monographs in recent three years, including The Four Hundred Years of the Critical Thoughts on the Modern East Asia Zen Buddhism, which presents his research methodology as well as issues and outlook of East Asia Zen Buddhism.
