Mr. Simon Suen and Mrs. Mary Suen Sino-Humanitas Institute is very glad to jointly organise the “Sharing from Distinguished Scholars in History and Literature”, together with the Department of History and the Jao Tsung-I Academy of Sinology of Hong Kong Baptist University.

The lecture was given by Prof. Martin W. Huang. He analyzed the depiction of events of widow sacrificing, leading participants to explore and discuss the culture and writing during the Ming Qing dynasties. It was chaired by Dr. Kelvin Yu-hin Ho, from the Department of Chinese Literature, Hong Kong Chu Hai College.
