Abstract (in Chinese only):

出生上海的張愛玲先後來港三次。第一次是因戰爭無法前去倫敦大學，轉而於1939年入讀香港大學，1942年返回上海，期間與許地山有了交集。之後是1952年來港幫忙香港美新處的翻譯與寫作，以及為電懋公司撰寫劇本，直到1955年赴美。最後是1961-1962年短暫訪港，也拜訪了台灣。順著她的這三個時間點，本演講將探討從香港看張愛玲可折射出的三個主要面向，首先是她的上海人視角如何滲入了她的香港書寫，其次是她的中西文化斡旋者角色（例如雙語同時運作以及相對喜劇的劇本），最後是她在散文〈重返邊城〉中的港台回望。演講將指出，張愛玲在香港的時間雖不如上海和美國，但香港卻是鏈接她生命的中、港、美三大區段的重要中介地，亦是其各樣創作面向紛呈展現的核心現場。
