Amy Y. Zhang is a scholar of medieval Chinese literary culture. She received her PhD from the Department of East Asian Languages and Civilizations at Harvard University. Her research focuses on the social dimensions of poetry and the relationship between literary production and community in medieval China. She also has research interests in Sinosphere studies and the contemporary practice of classical Sinitic poetry.

She holds the degree of PhD in Letters in the field of Humanities from the Graduate School of Humanities and Human Sciences, Hokkaido University. Her research focuses on classical Chinese poetry, with a specialization in Tang poetry, Ci poetry from the Song Dynasty to the Republican era studies, Japanese Kanbun and Sinology.
Her current work is dedicated to the theories of Ci poetry in the Qing and Republican periods and the reception of Southern Song Ci. She also researches the reception and anthologies of Tang poetry in Japan, with additional interests in Ming and Qing novels and late Qing and Republican era illustrated news. She has published articles in academic journals, such as Taotie, Yōsei Kōko Kiyō (Bulletin of Postal Archaeology), and the Journal of the Faculty of Humanities and Human Sciences.
Dr. Dai Linlin, Research Associate

Dr. Linlin Dai holds a Ph.D. in Chinese Language and Literature from the Department of Chinese Language and Literature, Fudan University. She has visited the Department of East Asian Studies at the University of California, Berkeley, and the Faculty of Literature at Kokugakuin University, Japan, as a visiting scholar. Her research interests include Song Dynasty literature and historical texts, as well as classical Chinese prose studies. Her doctoral dissertation is entitled A Study of Specialized Parallel Prose Collections by Southern Song Dynasty Commercial Publishers. Her current research focuses on Song-Ming parallel prose anthologies and related studies in book history and reading history. She has published several articles in journals such as Wenxian, Xin Songxue, and the Journal of Southwest Jiaotong University.
