The Mr. Simon Suen and Mrs. Mary Suen Sino-Humanitas Institute of Hong Kong Baptist University, will hold the Textual Fluidity and Transmission: Workshop on Ci Studies from 28 August (Friday) to 29 August (Saturday) 2026. For more details, please see below.

1. Ci Form and Literary History: Ci poets, works, and the genealogy of schools
2. Anthologies and Canonization: Ci anthologies, Ci critiques, and systems of commentary
3. The Life History of Texts: Manuscripts, transcriptions, printed editions, and transformations in digital media
4. Tune Names and Melodies: Transmission of vocal styles, reconstruction of sounds, and stage practices
5. Commentary and Readership: Formation, interaction, and dissemination of critical vocabulary
6. Cross-Regional and Cross-Linguistic Perspectives: Textual comparisons, translation pathways, and localization
7. Lingnan Perspectives and Overseas Sinology: Local texts, maritime dissemination, and global dialogue
