Mr. Simon Suen and Mrs. Mary Suen Sino-Humanitas Institute is very honoured to invite Professor Stephen Owen, renowned American Sinologist and Professor of Department of East Asian Languages and Civilizations, Harvard University, to visit HKBU in November 2016. On 5 November, Professor Owen hosted a sharing session for researchers and postgraduate students from the Department of Chinese Language and Literature, Mr. Simon Suen and Mrs. Mary Suen Sino-Humanitas Institute and the Jao Tsung-I Academy of Sinology, HKBU, to discuss the Dream of the Red Chamber, standards for good classical Chinese poetry, and his new book The Poetry of Du Fu and etc.
