From 9 to 10 November 2019, the International Conference on Ming Literature-cum-12th Annual Meeting of the Ming Literature Studies Council of China, organised by the Ming Literature Studies Council of China and School of Humanities of Shenzhen University, co-organised by SHI, was held in Shenzhen. Almost 200 scholars from more than 100 institutions participated, including Fudan University, The University of Hong Kong, Hong Kong Baptist University, Zhejiang University, Nanjing University, Chinese Academy of Social Sciences and etc.
Over 100 papers were presented, covering various aspects in the studies of Ming literature, which reflect the latest research findings in Ming literature. The scholars discussed the life of important persons in Ming dynasty, interactions among literary societies, literary history and so on.
